Steven Weisz, Photographer

Artist Statement
I am the founder of and the Dance Journal, where I initially took up photography to document dance and movement in the Philadelphia region. However, my journey with photography has transcended mere documentation; it has become a medium through which I weave narratives, advocate for social causes, and delve into the tapestry of human existence. I am intrigued by how a single photograph can encapsulate a fleeting moment, evoke emotions, and spark conversations that transcend boundaries. Photography has a unique ability to forge unexpected connections and offer glimpses into new dimensions of existence. What captivates me most is the myriad forms of human expression and the vibrant tapestry of cultural diversity. I revel in capturing the essence of life, nature, and the interconnectivity that binds us all together as a shared humanity.
