Steven Weisz, founder of PhiladelphiaDANCE.org and The Dance Journal, began his photographic journey to capture the vibrancy of dance and movement in Philadelphia. Over time, this endeavor grew from simple documentation to a profound exploration of storytelling, advocacy, and the richness of human experience. Photography has become Steven’s primary medium for weaving narratives, sparking dialogue, and capturing moments that transcend cultural and geographical boundaries. Through his lens, he finds meaning in fleeting moments and creates imagery that evokes deep emotion and reflection.

An alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, Steven holds advanced degrees in Psychology and Education, blending his academic background with a multifaceted career as an entrepreneur and educator. As CEO of Delaware Valley On Line, an established provider of business-class web hosting and digital services, and president of Rainbow Promotions Inc., an entertainment agency, he exemplifies entrepreneurial versatility. His impact on Philadelphia’s arts community is vast, including his roles as director of Graffito Works, an international platform for site-specific performance.

Steven’s photography, under Art Imagined Photography, is internationally recognized, with works showcased at prestigious events like Expo Metro Milan and the Art Deco Weekend in Miami Beach. His images, celebrated for their technical precision and emotional depth, have been featured in numerous publications and earned honors in competitions such as the Prix de la Photographie de Paris. As a member of the National Press Photographers Association, International Freelance Photographers Organization and Professional Photographers of America, Steven upholds a high standard of ethical photography.
