Originally the backdrop for an Easter special event we produced at the former Bazaar of All Nations in Clifton Heights, this cherry tree has had a permanent home for 45 years in the front yard of at my house in Lansdowne, PA. It is usually one of the very first cherry trees to come in to full bloom in this region and has been a regular attraction to visitors in the area.

If you’re a fan of vintage vehicles with a penchant for the macabre, the 2024 Classic Hearse and Ambulance Show at Laurel Hill East Cemetery was the event to attend. Organized by the Mohnton Professional Car Club, this unique gathering brought together an impressive array of classic hearses and ambulances, each with its own story and history, set against the hauntingly beautiful backdrop of one of Philadelphia’s most historic cemeteries.
