Art Imagined Photography to Be Showcased at
Expo Metro Barcelona’s The Art Tunnel

Art Imagined Photography is honored to announce that two of its striking black-and-white images have been selected for display at Expo Metro Barcelona’s The Art Tunnel, an innovative public art exhibition taking place June 16–29, 2025, at Passeig de Gràcia Metro Station in Barcelona, Spain.

Returning for its second edition, Expo Metro Barcelona will transform one of the city’s busiest metro stations into a massive immersive art gallery, reaching an estimated 400,000 commuters over two weeks. The Art Tunnel will feature thousands of works by international artists, offering travelers a dynamic visual experience integrated into their daily commute.

Through a QR code system, visitors can interact digitally with the artworks, connecting directly to artists’ websites and social media for deeper engagement. Additionally, Expo Metro’s promotional efforts will include photo and video shoots, social media campaigns, press and TV coverage, and live-streamed events, ensuring global audiences can experience the exhibition virtually.

Featured Works by Art Imagined Photography

A Poised Reflection, photographed by Steven Weisz of Art Imagined, features model Michelle Gladstone in a dramatic black-and-white portrait taken at Novalight Studios in Philadelphia during a Philly Shutter Club session. Captured with a Sony a7RV and Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, this compelling image presents Gladstone poised elegantly on a pool table, enveloped in moody, high-contrast lighting. The interplay of light and shadow creates striking contrasts, highlighting intricate details such as her tattoo and the contours of her expression. A low-angle perspective adds an intimate, cinematic quality, pulling the viewer into the subject’s introspective moment. The use of chiaroscuro deepens the narrative, offering a visually compelling interplay between light and darkness.

Silent Narratives, also photographed by Steven Weisz, features model Jule Bele against a textured backdrop of open books. Captured at Novalight Studios during the Philly Shutter Club event with a Sony a7RV and Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, this monochrome image seamlessly blends literature and visual storytelling. Bele’s serene yet assertive expression, combined with the graceful extension of her arms, brings movement and elegance to the composition. The intricate patterns of her shirt mirror the textures of the book pages, creating a powerful visual dialogue between subject and setting. The monochrome treatment enhances the contrast, drawing attention to the subtle details—her expression, the delicate folds of the pages, and the rhythmic balance of light and shadow. Positioned centrally, she appears immersed in a world of words, evoking themes of knowledge, introspection, and personal identity. The composition suggests a fusion of self and story, inviting viewers to reflect on the relationship between individuality and intellectual exploration.

A Global Artistic Opportunity

“We are thrilled to have our work included in such a prestigious and globally-reaching exhibition,” said Steven Weisz, founder of Art Imagined Photography. “Expo Metro Barcelona is a phenomenal opportunity to share our artistic vision with an international audience and be part of an inspiring cultural movement.”

Following its recent Milan exhibition, Art Imagined Photography’s selection for Expo Metro Barcelona 2025 further cements its presence in the global art scene.
